My First Dentist was founded in early 2007 by Danny Chiang, D.D.S., and Rose Ann Habib-Chiang, D.M.D. with the vision of creating pleasant and fun dental visits for all children.  Our focus was to implement the concept of a dental home by educating children and parents on the importance of oral health, complete and continuous care, and the prevention of dental disease.

Both Drs. Danny & Rose Ann Were Voted By NJ Monthly As Top Dentists for multiple years.

From a very young age Dr.Rose Ann always knew she wanted to work with children in the health care field. Growing up with her late mother as a dentist for over 35 years, she was very familiar with the field. Before attending dental school she volunteered at different daycare centers, was a camp counselor, and also worked as a childcare provider during church services.

She enjoy’s teaching children and their families how to take care of their teeth. The best part of her day is helping apprehensive children through their dental appointments. It’s a great feeling when she can dry tears, erase fears, and have children walk out of our office with a smile – and a prize, of course! At My First Dentist, she strives to treat each child as she would like her own treated. As a mother of two young children, she understands how much her patients and families appreciate that.

Dr. Rose Ann participated in a number of outreach programs that included visits to Jamaica to serve those who could not afford dental care. Until now Dr. Rose Ann has a passion to serve those in need. Every year My First Dentist participates in Give Kids a Smile day which is a national program started by the American Dental Association. Dr. Rose Ann also goes on mission trips to serve the needy in Egypt and continue in her mother’s legacy.
